Why do we care about Potassium?

Potassium is a mineral found in many foods​

It is needed for muscle function, including your heart muscle, but too much can be harmful.

Your kidneys help regulate the levels of potassium in your blood, and if your kidneys are not working well, potassium can build up in your blood, causing weakness and harm your heart function.​
